　　西泠印社是中国研究篆刻的学术团体。1904年(清光绪三十年)由丁辅之、王褆、叶为铭、吴隐等创办于浙江杭州孤山，因地近西泠而命名。第一任社长为近代著名篆刻家、书画家吴昌硕。该社出版印学、印谱及书画著作颇多，在印学界影响甚大。
